| Board Members The Board consists of seven members, five of whom are appointed by the Shelby County Commissioners and two of whom are appointed by the probate judge. Three individuals must be a family member to a person receiving services from Shelby Hills Early Childhood Center, S&H Products, or residential supports. The Board meets the third Thursday of the month at 11:30 A.M. in the Shelby Hills Early Childhood Center Conference Room.

Gail Shively President Ms. Shively is a retired Algebra and Pre-Algebra teacher who taught for 31 years in the Sidney City School District. Gail joined the Board of MR/DD in 1996. In addition to serving as our board's current president, she holds the position of president of the Shelby County Retired Teacher's Association and the Gateway Choral Society. She is also the Vice President of the local chapter of the American Association of University Women and the Southern Ohio Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Board. A Special Olympics Association Board member, Ms. Shively has two grown children and four granddaughters. In her spare time, she enjoys bowling and rooting for the Cleveland Browns. |

Dan Bensman Vice President Mr. Bensman is an attorney and partner with the law firm of Faulkner, Garmhausen, Keister & Shenk. He is a member of the Ohio State and Shelby County Bar Associations and currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Shelby County United Way, the Community Foundation of Shelby County, the Wilson Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Anna Local Schools Education Foundation. He has served on many community organizations including serving as the President of the S & H Products Board, President of the Shelby County Habitat for Humanity, and President of the Village of Anna Endowment Fund. Mr. Bensman resides in Anna with his wife, Lori, and their three children, Carter, Avery, and Claire. |

Patty Eilerman Secretary Patty Eilerman is the Marketing Communications Manager at Hartzell Fan, Inc. in Piqua, Ohio. She is a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fort Loramie, Ohio, and serves as a lector. She is currently President of the Fort Loramie Athletic Boosters. She and her husband Tony reside near Fort Loramie and have two sons. Patty is an avid sports fan and loves to read.

Mick Given
Mr. Given holds the position of President of Ferguson Construction Company. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Firstar Bank, the West Ohio Development Council and the University of Dayton School of Engineering Advisory Council. He is a member of the Board of the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation and Wilson Memorial Hospital. A member of the Sidney Noon Kiwanis, Given has been president of the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA and member of the S&H Products Board. Given and his wife live in Sidney and have three children.
