The
Coordinator of
Community Support determines service eligibility for
anyone age six and up by completing either a
COEDI or
OEDI. Once eligibility is
established, a person can request any of the services offered through the
Service and Support Administration.
Children under the age of six may also receive some
services through the Service and Support Administration. However, in
addition to becoming eligible for early intervention or early childhood
services, most services also require a diagnosis of mental
retardation or other lifelong developmental disability.
